VoIP phone systems use your business's existing network (LAN), have the lowest maintenance and expansion cost, are easy to configure, and require no rewiring when you move devices — features that make them clearly superior to conventional phone systems.

A serviceTag specialist will discuss your business's needs with you, with an eye on both the present and the future. We handle every stage of the project — design, installation, programming, staff training and technical support — so your phone system runs seamlessly. We also take on maintenance or upgrades of an existing Asterisk-based VoIP system.

VoIP phone system FAQ

  • What is a phone system?

Known as a PBX (Private Branch Exchange), a phone system acts as a company's central call switchboard, handling internal calls and the gateway to the outside world.

  • Do they require special lines from providers?

Not necessarily. VoIP accounts replace analog or ISDN lines via SIP trunk channels, with an easy, quick setup. PSTN, ISDN BRI/PRI and mobile lines are also supported where needed.

  • Is call quality worse than on classic phone systems?

No. Nearly all calls today, with or without a phone system, already travel over the Internet. With the right equipment and provider, a VoIP phone system's call quality is excellent.

  • Can it connect with CRM or ERP applications?

Yes. Many CRM/ERP systems can route calls through Asterisk, linking call logs to customer records and opening the customer's file automatically when they call. Implementation requires programming, which we handle.
